Example shot of a Portal homepage
Saturday, July 4th, 2009Here’s an example shot of a Portal homepage. The smaller windows within the main window are called ‘portlets’. A portlet can be used on one or many pages and access can be controlled for who see’s what within a portal. You can have portlets where the content displayed is controlled by the integrated ‘content management’ system (such as the “News” portlets shown here). This allows a business user to change the content very quickly without any programming skills. Virtuosant would love to teach you more about how a portal and our portal based products can benefit your small to medium size company, feel free to contact us at any time.
